Annual Daytona Bike Week Attracts Hundreds of Thousands of Visitors
A premier Wisconsin-based transportation company, Haul Bikes ships motorcycles and other sport vehicles to most destinations in the contiguous United States, including popular motorcycle rallies. Through Haul Bikes, motorcycle owners receive secure transport that allows them to experience major events, such as Daytona Bike Week, on their own bikes. First held in 1937, Daytona Bike Week is home to the famed Daytona 200. Since the 1960s, this popular motorcycle race has taken place at the world-renowned Daytona International Speedway.
Over the years, Daytona Bike Week has grown from a set of races to a 10-day festival with hundreds of events that appeal to motorcycle enthusiasts. Visitors can stop into Riverfront Park to procure information at the event's official welcome center and enjoy live music, vendors, and bike shows. In addition to taking part in organized activities, motorcyclists can ride the Loop for a 22-mile tour of the breathtaking Florida landscape.
A popular tourist destination with sandy beaches and warm weather, Daytona welcomes hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts during each annual bike week. Local officials have taken great care to manage the influx of visitors that arrive during the week to ensure solid relations between guests and local community members.
